why? Why a Vampire Chronicles shrine? Well, pretty much the same reason for the entire site. I missed the VampChron. I was a fan years and years ago (I think I first started reading in 1996?) and it was my first introduction to "fandom" as it was and to a lot of the internet world. I ran a VC site a long long time ago, sometime between '99 and 2002, but I drifted far away from the fandom and into new and different things. Okay, so long story short- I got nostalgic one day fairly recently and went to look up some old VC things. They weren't there. And not only were they not there, I could hardly find anything relating to the Chronicles that wasn't a decade out of date or wasn't horrible crap! (no offense anyone, there are a very few still decent places around, I'm being dramatic). So that's the story.
